Difference between Netbooks and Notebooks
The term Netbook was coined by ASUS Corporation when they released the first Version of the ASUS EeePC, a Low-cost Pc, designed for kids. A very sleek portable laptop, which is very easy to carry around, created by ASUS Corporation to provide, kids a tool for browsing the internet and to work for their projects. But with its portability and sleek design has its own drawback, a sleek and lightweight laptop, lacks the capabilities of a fully loaded laptop that we use.
The slow speed of processing is very evident, not good for multi-tasking. At first the consumers are very reluctant in buying this low cost netbooks, but with the introductions of a new low cost netbooks with its increasing processing capabilities and additional gadgets just like notebook, consumers are fascinated and tried to buy one for their kids.
Even other companies released their own version of netbooks, the ACER and MSI introduces their own affordable netbooks. As I have observed more and more people are now buying netbooks, even my coworkers, most of them have their own netbooks, portability is their primary reason why they bought it, yeah its very easy to carry around, even I at first was also spellbound of thinking to also have one, but after a careful analysis of its pro’s and con’s I change my mind. Yes, it’s a good tool for office work and internet browsing, but if you are looking for the speed and processing capabilities especially for video and graphics software applications, netbooks is not for you, I would rather recommend you to buy Notebook instead, although the price of Netbooks are much lesser than notebooks, the power and multi-tasking capabilities of notebooks are very far more superior than netbooks.
